Hi all. I'm at a loss for a name for a white squirrel I'm tasked with writing about, any ideas would be greatfully recieved.

Luna Italian for moon

Why would you wanna call it the Italian for moon when it isn't even nocturnal? No. I'd probably call it Popper, because of the way they shinny up and down trees collecting nuts and stuff and the way they pop in and out of their holes like jack-in-a-boxes.

What's wrong with Luna? I like it. Not nocternal? Well, how about Midi. It's French for midday. Not nocternal at all, and fitting as it is: 1. a very cute and squirrel-sounding name, and 2. the sun truly looks white, not yellow like in a children's picture book, so also very fitting. Perhaps platenum? Or maybe frosted flake? rofl

Well, you could take a cue from Brian Jacques, and call it, Silent Sam. or just Sam.
